Stefanie Präauer, BA (37) has been promoted to attorney-at-law on KWR's Public Procurement Law Team. She started out as part of the Summer Associate Programme at KWR while she was a student - a start which laid the foundation for her long-term career trajectory with the firm. Since then, she has worked almost continuously in various positions at KWR, steadily developing towards her admission to the bar.
After several years of legal work in corporate law and M&A, Stefanie Präauer finally focussed on public procurement law – thus, she brings particularly broad and versatile legal expertise to the practice group.
Stefanie Präauer's promotion to attorney-at-law will foster the growth of KWR's successful public procurement law practice, thus guaranteeing the highest level of advisory services for a constantly growing circle of clients.

About the attorney-at-law:
After studying economics with a focus on non-profit management and state institutions, Stefanie Präauer began her professional career by working as a consultant in a renowned marketing agency for several years. While studying law, she worked in the European Forum Alpbach network as a financial officer and Vice-President of Club Alpbach Tirol. After completing the KWR Summer Associate Programme in 2016 and an internship at a renowned business law firm in New York City (USA) in 2016/17, she joined KWR as a research assistant in 2017 and worked for us as an associate from 2018 onwards. In 2020, Stefanie Präauer joined the M&A team of another renowned business law firm before passing her bar exam in 2021 and returning to KWR as an associate. In the spring of 2025, she was admitted to the bar and became part of KWR's Public Procurement Law Team.
